Prehistoric.jpg Relatively wide-ranging group consisting of various sites - often caves or ancient villages - traditionally classified as belonging to the prehistoric period but which we feel are of significant historical interest. Many such sites, while initially occupied in bronze or iron-age times, may have continued in use for long time periods with caves becoming shrines or hermitages and ancient villages sometimes occupied into the Angkorian era or even, with the case of certain sites, until the present day.
