Prasat Banteay Stoung (ប្រាសាទបន្ទាយស្ទោង - Pronounced: Pra-saht Ban-teay Stouhng)
Curious, just about still standing brick shrine located on the south bank of the Stoung River a short distance east of Stoung Town. The tower has suffered a series of haphazard restorations over the years including what appears to have been a conversion to a Theravada Buddhist shrine at an indeterminate date. A recarved lintel features a reclining Buddha while seated sandstone Buddha images and sema stones can also be seen.
What appear to be sections of rounded colonettes can be seen amid various sandstone fragments, indicating a possible original 7th-century date.
