Site Size & Condition: Medium Ruin Prasat Ta Phai (ប្រាសាទតាផៃ - Pronounced: Pra-saht Ta Pai) is to Prasat Yeay Kom as Prasat Samnang Ta Sok is to Prasat Ta Naem, so a second satellite temple on the northern axis, situated approximately 1km north of Banteay Chhmar's north entrance. It also corresponds to what is very much a default design in these parts with a double laterite enclosure and moat, 4 gopuras, 'library' and a central cruciform tower with faces. The site faces east and has a slightly north of east-west alignment, similar to both Banteay Chhmar itself and most secondary shrines.

2 carved faces are remarkably pretty much all that remains (precariously) standing of the central tower creating a rather stark but spectacular image.
