Ban Kouay (ບ້ານ ຄວາຍ - Pronounced: Baan Kway)
Ban Kouay is described on the CISARK website as a small, ruined, pre-Angkorian laterite temple. Firstly, this is rather contradictory as pre-Angkorian temples were almost universally constructed out of bricks rather than laterite and s4econdly, neither does the website offer any additional details or location. Furthermore, no subsequent EFEO surveys of the region (2010 and 2014) contain any mention of this site.
There are several ruined temples - both pre-Angkorian brick and later laterite structures - in the Mouulapamok area and we're tempted to suggest that Ban Kouay (a common village name in Laos) is merely an alternative name for an already listed site.
No additional details are available and please note our GPS coordinates are random guesswork.
