Site Size & Condition: Inscriptions Phnom Sopoar Kalei (ភ្នំសុពណ៌កាឡី - Pronounced: P'nom Sop-poirh Ka-ley)

Approximate site - on the west bank of the Mekong - where an inscribed stele was found in 1902. The Sanskrit text records the erection of a linga by Citrasena - the pre-coronation name of Mahendravarman. (Making it, logically, probably late 6th rather than early 7th century?) A second (uncatalogued) part of the same inscription was found 100 years later nearby, at the foot of Phnom Sopoar Kalei. As far as we can ascertain neither of the locations house temple vestiges.
