Site Size & Condition: Medium Prasat Prasat Kraol Ko (ប្រាសាទក្រោលគោ - Pronounced: Pra-saht Krowl Ko)

One of the smallest in a series of Jayavarman VII sites dotted around the edge of the Jayatatarka Baray, Prasat Kraol Ko lies slightly east of an alignment with the island temple Prasat Neak Pean and some 100m from the north bank. The laterite and sandstone temple is small and of simple design (by Jayavarman VII's standards) consisting of a central shrine and single 'library' surrounded by 2 enclosure walls with an eastern gopura and laterite terrace.

The site is relatively intact and displays the usual devatas and tapestry reliefs although the best lintels are to be found on the ground and depict, among other scenes, Lokeshvara with flying Hamsas and Krishna raising Mount Govardhana.
