Site Size & Condition: Medium Ruin Prasat Ta Chey (ប្រាសាទតាជ័យ - Pronounced: Pra-saht Ta Chay) lies north of Banteay Chhmar, close to the border of Oddor Meanchey Province. The laterite platform and lower course of a brick tower can clearly be seen as can a surrounding moat, while a small man-made reservoir immediately to the northeast still retains water. While the brick site undoubtedly pre-dates Banteay Chhmar, it is significant in that Ta Chey's (and its baray's) slightly north of east-west orientation also then predates Banteay Chhmar's similar alignment.
