Site Size & Condition: Medium Ruin Sambor Prei Kuk C2-C3 (សំបូរព្រៃគុក - Pronounced: Som-bore P'rei Kok!)

A pair of brick towers sitting side by side, which is included in CISARK's listing of 8 brick towers - all either square or rectangular and aligned very approximately north-south - is situated just to the west of the western, outer, enclosure wall at Prasat Tao. (The disposition is somewhat similar to the Sambor Prei Kuk C7 group with respect to Prasat Sambor.) C3 still stands with a number of brick walls present, though C2 hasn't fared as well, and is more of a mound 'tuol'.

The decoration is minimal, with no visible 'flying palace' reliefs or lintels in place but a provisional mid-7th, Bhavavarman II date has been proposed based upon brick analysis.

The path running south past these shrines; Sambor Prei Kuk C8-1, Sambor Prei Kuk C4-C5, Sambor Prei Kuk C8-2 and Sambor Prei Kuk C8-3 skirts around Prasat Tao and arrives at the interesting Prasat Trapeang Ropeak and Y group to the south.
