Site Size & Condition: Ancient Bridge Spean Borann (ស្ពានបុរាណ - Pronounced: Spien Bore-rahn) one of the many historic bridges built by King Jayavarman VII that spans the Royal roads leading out from Angkor to the far stretches of the empire. A possible hydraulic channel that provided water flow from Prasat Beng Mealea's moat, there is evidence that this was constructed in laterite, with a laterite bridge measuring about 6m x 3m. This is also the location of a pile of sandstone blocks and fragments of a sandstone Nandin or Preah Ko.
