Site Size & Condition: Ancient Bridge Spean Reap (ស្ពានរាប - Pronounced: Spien Riep) one of the many historic bridges built by King Jayavarman VII that spans the Royal roads leading out from Angkor to the far stretches of the empire. This bridge is a relatively large bridge, reportedly 90m long, however alas it has all but collapsed. This section of the ancient highway is still being used today, and the current road is a modern red dirt road. Scattered laterite blocks can be seen potruding from the nearby areas, however it is unknown as to whether sections of the bridge is still standing under the dirt road or not.
