Site Size & Condition: Museum Wat Phu Museum (ຫໍພິພິທະພັນວັດພູ - Pronounced: Ho-pee-pee Tha-pahn Wad-Pooh)

Small but interesting museum located by the ticket office at the main entrance to Wat Phu and featuring a collection of artefacts from Wat Phu itself as well as sites within the nearby ancient cities of Shrestapura and Lingapura (Champassak).

The exhibition is impressive and includes a famous 5th century Sanskrit inscription unearthed at the site of Wat Luang Kao as well as lingas, lions and assorted sculptures in addition to maps, photos and information.

Official opening hours are 08:00-16:00 daily and entrance is free with the purchase of a ticket for the main Wat Phu site.
