Category:Small Prasat

In so far as we're restraining ourselves to either small, medium and large categories, (rather than having a scale of some 10 temple sizes), and neither are we classifying sites by the number of square metres etc, this category is inevitably of a subjective nature. (What to one contributor may be small, is to another medium and so on.) Basically, 'small' sites are solitary constructions - a single tower or pavilion - not part of a larger complex and still in sufficiently good condition to avoid our 'ruin' category. Single towers with additional structures such as moats, enclosing walls, and so-on are generally included in our 'Medium' category.

Admittedly some such solitary sites may well have originally been part of larger structures but since this is not always known, we're keeping to what can be seen today.
