Prasat Thommanon (ប្រាសាទធម្មនន្ទ - Pronounced: Pra-saht Toe-mon-nohn) is a medium-sized, extensively-restored temple, constructed in the early 12th-century - Angkor Wat style - and consisting of 4 sandstone elements aligned along an east-west axis. A central shrine connects to a pavilion, or mandapa, to the east which, in turn, connects to the eastern gopura of an inner (now ruined) enclosing wall while a western gopura lies west of the main shrine. In addition, a small but perfectly-restored sandstone 'library' is situated to the southeast. The entire site is surrounded by traces of a now dry moat.
Several well-preserved lintels and pediments, in both heraldic and narrative styles, can be seen plus numerous intact devatas. The presence of Buddhist iconography has led some archeologists to suggest that the site had possibly already been initiated during the earlier reign of Dharanindravarman I or even Jayavarman VI.
