Site Size & Condition: Small Tuol Sambor Prei Kuk C8-2 (សំបូរព្រៃគុក - Pronounced: Som-bore P'rei Kok!)

A small brick temple mound, which is included in CISARK's listing of 8 brick towers - aligned with the other tower listings very approximately north-south - is situated just to the northwest of the western, outer, enclosure wall at Prasat Tao.

The decoration is minimal, with no visible 'flying palace' reliefs or lintels in place but a provisional mid-7th, Bhavavarman II date has been proposed based upon brick analysis.

The path running south past these shrines; Sambor Prei Kuk C8-1, Sambor Prei Kuk C2-C3, Sambor Prei Kuk C4-C5 and Sambor Prei Kuk C8-3 skirts around Prasat Tao and arrives at the interesting Prasat Trapeang Ropeak and Y group to the south.
