Site Size & Condition: Museum An Giang Museum (Bảo tàng An Giang - Pronounced: Baow Tahng! Ahn Ghahng)

The museum contains 4 main exhibition rooms, displaying an assortment of artefacts from the different periods of Vietnamese history including the local Oc Eo/Khmer culture.

A sandstone statue of Brahma that originated from Di Chi Giong Xoai dating to the 6th-7th century is of particular interest, along with the ancient wooden Buddha statues.

As part of Vietnamese Governments preservation of it's cultural history, a number of artefacts have been designated as a 'National Treasure'. The An Giang Museum houses a number of 'Oc Eo' artefacts with this special designation, and these include;

From the seventh set of 22 national treasures which was designated on 24 December 2018;

  1. #8 A set of stone Linga and Yoni (5th-6th century)
  2. #9 Giong Xoai Brahma statue (6th-7th century)

From the eighth set of 27 national treasures which was designated on 15 January 2020;

  1. #5 Wooden Buddha statue of Giong Xoai (4th-6th century)
  2. #6 Stone Buddha statue of Khanh Binh (6th-7th century)

From the ninth set of 24 national treasures which was designated on 31 December 2020;

  1. #3 Linga-Yoni of Linh Son (7th century)

From the tenth set of 23 national treasures which was designated on 25 December 2021;

  1. #5 Relief of Buddhist of Linh Son Bac (3rd-4th century)
  2. #6 Nandi ring of Giong Cat (5th century)
  3. #8 Go Thanh elephant-carved gold leaves collection (6th-8th century)

From the eleventh set of 27 national treasures which was designated on 30 January 2023;

  1. #7 Mukhalinga of Ba The (6th century)
