Muang Fang (เมืองฝาง - Pronounced: Moo-ang Fang)
Unoccupied ancient settlement site, situated on the bank of the Pang Chu River which at that point separates eastern Buriram from neighbouring Maha Sarakham Province. The site lies a short distance southeast of present-day Ban Yang and displays an irregular form with sections of moat still present on its west and north sides. The feature measures approximately 500m x 700m at its widest points with the enclosed area appearing to contain a mixture of farmland and uncultivated scrub.
Some brick vestiges are reported on the northern side of the site but, at present, no additional information is available. (c. 15.49496, 103.07453)
