Sra Phleng (สระเพลง - Pronounced: Sa Pleng)
Substantial-sized, intact reservoir measuring 200m x 380m and situated immediately (c. 50m) east of Prang Phon Songkhram with which it shares a similar alignment. However, such large barays are not standard features of arogyasalas and it is our opinion that the site more likely corresponds to a now disappeared sanctuary site which would have lain slightly further to the west. Alternatively, barays serving circular settlements rather than specific sanctuaries are also a commonly seen feature. Either way, it probably predates the late 12th-century hospital chapel.
