Curious field boundaries form a curved feature some 50 wide which leads east from the reservoir to a point just northwest of T30165 (15.01685, 101.84973) where it branches northeast and southwest. To the northeast the feature curves back on itself before running into a straight embankment now topped by a modern road. From here a second embankment at 90 degrees runs north suggesting the area immediately east may have also, at one time been a reservoir. The ancient, moated settlement of [[Kok Kaphi]] lies a short distance southeast of here.

Possible ancient reservoir site situated amid a cluster of similar listings in Sung Noen District west of the present-day provincial capital. The reservoir is largely intact, albeit missing its southwest corner, and measures approximately 175m x 280m with a slight northwest-southeast orientation. No known temple vestiges are in the vicinity but the possible ancient reservoir sites of T30164 and T30175 lie some 1600m west-northwest with the double reservoir site of T30165 situated a similar distance east-southeast.

The ancient, moated settlement of Kok Kaphi lies a short distance southeast of here.

The southern branch of this winding feature continues for over 1 km to disappear just north of another circular area of uncultivated, scrub-covered land (15.00298, 101.84418) which could itself be an ancient settlement site and includes the possible reservoir T30192 on its south side.

While certain of the reservoirs and moated villages are at present unconfirmed - and we have no idea what the curving feature corresponds to - none of the various topographical features which dot the area are natural and the entire landscape of the region was clearly altered by the hand of man.
