Baray Prasat Ban Phluang (บารายปราสาทบ้านพลวง - Pronounced: Bar-ray Pra-saht Baan Ploo-ang)
A slightly warped, roughly square-shaped reservoir sitting to the east of Ban Phluang village and Prasat Ban Phluang is considered to be the remnant of a much large, Angkor-period baray. Today, measuring approximately 320m x 350m, the eastern embankment is situated some 200m east of the prasat's tower, with which is shares an 85-86 degree alignment.
However, archaeological evidence suggests that the feature originally extended further eastwards with a total length closer to 1,000m. If this were so then the size of said baray would seem to be rather out of proportion to the relatively small sanctuary alone and is probably additional evidence of a significant settlement having existed on the site of today's Ban Phluang. (A smaller reservoir - listed as Baray Ban Phluang - can also be seen on the village's northern edge.)
