Site Size & Condition: Medium Tuol Prasat Wat Khok Prasat (ปราสาทวัดโคกปราสาท - Pronounced: Pra-saht Wot Kok Pra-saht)

A ruined, ancient sanctuary situated within the southern sector of Prasat Samakhi Village, (the site is consequently also often referred to as Peasat Samakhi), in turn located in the far east of the province, on the west bank of the Chi, which at that point forms the present-day border between Buriram and Surin provinces.

No standing structures remain today with the site consisting of a large pile of laterite and sandstone blocks, among which several decorative fragments can still be discerned including an intact and a damaged pediment. An older TFAD survey of the site mentioned a lintel, which is no longer present, and described the site as consisting of an east-facing laterite shrine with a single brick (?) library. The art style is 11th to 12th century.

The northern section of a surrounding moat is still intact and can be seen just to the north of the wat.
