Satellite images reveal tree-lined embankments forming a rectangular area approximately 80m x 100m and aligned to some 80 degrees, located to the southeast of the ancient settlement site of Ban Hin Kong. We have come across reports of vestiges in this area - although lacking GPS coordinates -and this would be our best guess for their location. An elongated pond to the east, sharing the same orientation, may conceivably correspond to remnants of an original surrounding moat.
