Wat Chas (វត្តចាស់ - Pronounced: Wot Jah!)
Small, village wat located a short distance north of Highway 5 and a few kilometres east of the provincial capital. The wat compound is aligned to approximately 88 degrees and shows elongated ponds to the northwest and southwest which may be remnants of an ancient moat.
A recent visit by Hun Chhunten has confirmed that the site is indeed a former temple site, with traces of a brick foundation and a scattering of fragmented bricks in the vicinity.
