Wat Chok Chai Wan (วัดโชคชัยวรรณ - Pronounced: Wot Chock Chai Wun)
Speculative listing, for which we have no information, based upon the actual layout of the Buddhist monastery compound as perceived on satellite imagery. Raised earthen embankments to the north and west of the temple grounds meet at a right angle with an 85-degree orientation. Parallelling the inner side of the embankment is a long thin pond stretching north-south and extending a short distance along the northern embankment.
While both layout and orientation temptingly resemble a possible moated site this may, of course, be purely coincidental and we would concur that the site's location - in a remote valley in the far northwest of the province - is an unlikely one.
