Wat Muang Phai (วัดเมืองไผ่ - Pronounced: Wot Moo-ang Pai)
This active Buddhist monastery is located just beyond the embankment of the southwest corner of Muang Phai (Aranyaprathet) ancient settlement and houses several locally discovered artefacts, possibly originating from Prasat Muang Phai II which is situated some 500m to the north. Artefacts include a life-sized sandstone statue in excellent condition and considered to be in a Bayon-style, a grinding stone, a section of sandstone colonette and a large collection of Khmer pottery.
