Circular, moated settlement corresponding to present-day Ban Dan Ting, located on the north bank of the Chiang Krai River a few kilometres north of the provincial capital. Traces of the moat, including some elongated ponds and a large reservoir on the northwest side of the village, (15.14388, 102.13148), are discernable on satellite images.
