Tuol Preah Theat (ទួលព្រះធាតុ - Pronounced:Toohl Prayer T'iet)
Formerly placed in Kampong Speu Province, subsequently Kandal, this earth mound site is now included in the Phnom Penh administrative region, in the far western suburbs of the capital. The site is still undeveloped however and the square, raised area, surrounded by traces of a now dry moat, can be clearly seen on satellite images. A seated, sandstone Buddha image - now in the Musee Guimet - was unearthed here with a Sanskrit inscription dating to the late 7th or 8th centuries.
