Site Size & Condition: Inscriptions Khlung (ขลุง - Pronounced: K'lohng)

A small fragment of stone featuring a 7th-century (Sambor Prei Kuk period?) Pallava inscription was reportedly unearthed in a pepper plantation near the town hall of the district administrative centre Khlung. A rubbing of the inscription is today found in the Wat Thong Thua Museum while the original was transferred to the Bangkok National Museum.

No additional artefacts or vestiges were recorded at the Khlung site and how the inscription came to be there is a mystery. Its original provenance is likely to have been Boran Sathan Muang Paniat.
