Site Size & Condition: Destroyed Site Size & Condition: Small Tuol Prasat Ban Run (ปราสาทบ้านรุน - Pronounced: Pra-saht Baan Run)

The active Buddhist monastery Wat Ban Run is listed on the CISARK website as the site of a similarly named Prasat Ban Run. However, we are unable to find evidence of any vestiges or artefacts at the site today so have provisionally listed the entry as 'destroyed'. Note that certain CISARK listings in this region of Thailand appear to date to as far back as Aymonier's time so while there may well have been a structure or ruin here 100 years ago, it has since disappeared.

The main vihara constructed at some 86-87 degrees seems to have been the most likely location although an on-the-ground verification to see if any artefacts possibly remain in a corner of the wat grounds may be worthwhile.

Also note that an Angkor-period sanctuary at the site would seem to confirm Khmer occupation of the adjacent ancient settlement Ban Run.
