Prasat Non Yai Som (ปราสาทโนนยายสม - Pronounced: Pra-saht Nawn Yai Som)
A rectangular, forested area situated 100m or so west of the small reservoir Baray Prasat Non Yai Som is listed and named on the CISARK webiste and TFAD survey. A partially intact moat surrounds a 70m x 90m (approximatley) area showing a similar 80-degree alignment to the reservoir while traces of a possible causeway linking the two sites is apparent. Unfortunately, for now, we have no details of in situ vestiges.
An active Buddhist monastery, Wat Mueang Phai Thawon, is found south of the plot and indeed its grounds encroach on the southern section of the rectangle although no artefacts or vestiges are reported.
