Site Size & Condition: Medium Ruin Prasat Kaun Ko (ប្រាសាទកូនគោ - Pronounced: Pra-saht Kawn Ko)

The remains of a medium sized temple site, that contains a single central sandstone structure that has numerous erect sandstone pillars or columns. To the east is the remains of a small brick library. Surrounding the site is a laterite walled enclosure with an east entrance pavilion that would of likely been constructed from wood. The site is also surrounded by traces of a dried up moat.

According to CISARK, there appears to be a weathered Prei Khmeng style lintel lying on the ground. We are unsure as to whether this image loaded by CISARK was posted correctly or not. If the lintel is present, it may indicate that the 10th-11th century ruin was built on the foundations of an earlier temple mound.

To the east there appears to be a rectangular 1000m x 300m raised wall enclosure of some sort, that we have listed as CISARKS Thnal A Nga. Though we suspect that this could possibly be traces of a large rectangular dried up man-made reservoir.

The precise location of this site has yet to be confirmed. CISARK also reports that there is a small sandstone quarry about 50m south of the temple site that we have listed as Thma Dap Prasat Kaun Ko.

About 50m south are traces of a quarry Thma Dap Prasat Kaun Ko.
