Site Size & Condition: Medium Ruin Prasat Mebon (ប្រាសាទមេបុណ្យ - Pronounced: Pra-saht Mebon)

Is located on a large rectangular, artificial island in the centre of the Baray Banteay Chhmar to the east of the main temple site. The site is an ornate and complex one featuring 2 moats and 2 enclosure walls with gopuras surrounding a central shrine and 'library' although sadly the site is in poor condition. Some decorative elements remain although the shrine doesn't feature any face reliefs.
