Site Size & Condition: Small Tuol Prasat Trapeang Thnal (ប្រាសាទត្រពាំងថ្នល់ - Pronounced: Pra-saht Tro-pahng T'nol)

Early reports suggest that there was a lone brick tower that opens to the east about 1.5km south of Choam Khsant, though the precise location has yet to be determined.

A round colonette in the Prei Khmeng art style was reported to be found in situ.

We have provided an approximate location based on the information supplied by CISARK and based on satellite imagery there appears to be a small rectangular man-made reservoir in the middle of the fields.

We also assume that since there are no recent reports of a brick 'prasat', that the temple may now be simply a 'tuol' or mound.

However some Japanese explorers have suggested that the site may in fact be Prasat Thnal Svay (Toek_Kraham) which is 8km southeast of Choam Khsant or possibly Prasat Neang Nong which is 10km southwest of Choam Khsant. The reason why they have suggested it to be Prasat Neang Nong is that this site is also a brick temple with round colonettes in the Prei Khmeng style.
