Tuol Ta Peou (ទួលតាពៅ - Pronounced: Toohl Ta Peow)

Small, vegetation-covered, square mound showing no obvious vestiges. The site today features Sino-Khmer-style graves and has been extensively damaged but the mound clearly predates the graves and the existence of such a raised, uncultivated area amid extensive paddy-fields, indicates an ancient site. (With all due respect to deceased ancestors, (and this is a frequently seen phenomenon), a grave that doesn't involve excavating an archaeological site would be preferable!)
