Site Size & Condition: Wat Wat Pochentong (វត្តពោធិ៍ចិនតុង - Pronounced: Woit Po chen-tong!)

Fragments of bronze statues were reportedly discovered in an earthen mound situated within the compound of this active Buddhist monastery located a short distance northeast of Pochentong International Airport. A bronze hand and forearm, currently on display at the National Museum of Cambodia and listing Wat Pochentong as its provenance appears to confirm this although the remaining sections of the sculpture seem to have disappeared and neither art style nor the owner of the arm can be accurately determined. (A tentative 'mid-period' - presumably 10th century - style has been suggested.)

The monastery itself is aligned to approximately 85 degrees and a still water-filled pond can be seen just to the east so its ancient temple site credentials are likely but, for now, unconfirmed.
