Wat Prei Leak Mchas (វត្តព្រៃលាក់ម្ចាស់ - Pronounced: Woit P'rei Lahk M'chah!) the site of a modern temple, where one can find a small surprising collection of Angkorean artefacts, including the base of a possible sandstone linga, an old laterite block, what appears to be a Middle Kingdom era Buddha head, a small headless Buddha statue, some old Buddhist chedei's (stupa's) and a very surprising find in the shrine, a relatively intact good quality Angkorean statue painted in gold.
We were unable to find any local elders to ask if they are aware of any ancient foundations, as only younger and new to the area villagers were around at the time. It may be possible that this modern temple was built on the foundations of an earlier site.
