Phum Chranieng (ភូមិច្រនៀង - Pronounced: Poohm J'rah-nieng)

We hypothesize that located to the southwest of this ancient mound was an ancient village or settlement, that we have aptly named 'Phum Chranieng'. In earlier satellite imagery one can see a rough circular perimetre with unnatural formations. Located in the northeastern corner one can see a moated temple mound site Tuol Prasat Chranieng (Preah Netr Preah), along with it's associated reservoir Trapeang Prasat Chranieng (Preah Netr Preah), and another smaller reservoir can be seen to the north Srah Chranieng.
