Site Size & Condition: Medium Tuol Tuol Prasat Chranieng (ទួលប្រាសាទច្រនៀង - Pronounced: Toohl P'ra-saht J'rah-nieng)

The site of a cleared brick temple mound, where a large sandstone slab can be found, that would of formed part of the door frame for the brick tower. Earlier satellite imagery shows that the temple mound was clearly surrounded by a moat with an east entrance causeway. Most of the area now seemed to have been ploughed for farming. Located 50m to the east are traces of a destroyed rectangular man-made reservoir Trapeang Prasat Chranieng (Preah Netr Preah). Another smaller reservoir can be seen to the north Srah Chranieng.

We hypothesize that located to the southwest of this ancient mound was an ancient village or settlement, that we have aptly named Phum Chranieng. In earlier satellite imagery one can see a rough circular perimetre with unnatural formations.
