Site Size & Condition: Medium Ruin Prasat Kakoh (ប្រាសាទកកោះ - Pronounced: Pra-saht Ka-koh!) is another site some way (7 kms) to the north of the main Koh Ker area. The monument consists of 3 ruined, east-facing brick towers and a laterite 'library'. Decorative elements remain unfinished except for a recently hacked lintel on the ground. What can be seen of the latter shows something of a Pre Rup-style and we're not convinced that assigning Kakoh to the Koh Ker group is appropriate or that the tentative Koh Ker UNESCO submission extends that far afield.
