Site Size & Condition: Medium Ruin Prasat Trapeang Chambak (ប្រាសាទត្រពាំងចំបក់ - Pronounced: Pra-saht T'ro-pahng Johm-bokh!)

Small, walled sandstone and laterite complex located in forest approximately 1 km west of the outer wall of Preah Khan Kampong Svay. The partially ruined sanctuary comprises a cruciform-shaped central shrine with an extended eastern mandapa connecting to the main, eastern gopura in the enclosing laterite wall. South and west walls also feature small gopuras while a fire shrine and library - the former, southeastern building in sandstone and the latter, northeastern in laterite - are located on either side of the entrance mandapa.

Some decorative elements are still in situ including Angkor Wat-style devata figures and an eroded, Buddha motif, lintel. Large, semi-circular niches in the walls of the main shrine are unique and their purpose is unknown. The overall style seems to correspond to that of the main sanctuary Prasat Preah Khan (Kampong Svay) and is likely to represent an early 12th-century construction with a few possible late 12th-century tweaks and additions.
