A small, rectangular reservoir is discernable on the northern side of present-day Ban Bua. The feature measures approximately 80m x 200m and shows an orientation of 110 degrees. No associated sites are known and it is possible that the reservoir was a feature of an ancient settlement on the site of today's village or even a remnant section of an enclosing moat.
