Site Size & Condition: Wat Wat Praek Thloeng (វត្តព្រែកថ្លឹង - Pronounced: Wot P'raek T'luhng!)

Located on the south bank of the Prek Thnaot River, close to Wat Kuk Roluos, this large, active Buddhist monastery is another site reported as of historical interest by early French archaeologists yet displaying no known vestiges or artefacts today. The compound is aligned a few degrees north of east-west. As there appears to have been an extensive early settlement further upstream, smaller ancient sites close to the confluence with the Bassak - such as this and Wat Kuk Roluos - would be expected.

Requires further confirmation and, in our opinion, deserving of further investigation.
